Shital Shah is a Principal Research Engineer at Microsoft Research AI. He is interested in various aspects of autonomous vehicles, robotics, deep learning and computer vision. He has over 20 years of professional software development experience with 12 years at Microsoft in various roles including technical lead, architect and engineering manager. At Microsoft, Shital has worked in various groups and had been key leader on projects including large scale categorization, distributed machine learned clustering platform, xCat engine etc. Most recently he has lead the development of AirSim, a physically and visually realistic simulator for AI research.
